Originally manufacturing engines for agricultural equipment, the company later transitioned to landscape maintenance equipment and irrigation systems. History

1914 -- The Toro Motor Company founded in Bloomington, Minnesota. 1920s -- Transition to lawn mower manufacturing. 1960s -- Entry into the irrigation equipment market. 2000 -- Acquisition of Irritrol to expand the irrigation line. 2014 -- Celebration of the company's 100th anniversary. 2021 -- Acquisition of Intimidator Group and product portfolio expansion.
